koala signs with Sharks
The Portuguese organization has only one slot left to fill in the starting lineup.

Sharks have completed the signing of former FURIA Academy and The Union player João "koala" Pfeffer, the Portuguese organization announced on Tuesday. The 19-year-old will fill one of the two open spots in the lineup after Victor "togs" Rapassi and Rodrigo "drg" Ausenka were moved to the bench.
koala had been with Galorys since January, when the Brazilian organized entered Counter-Strike with the signing of the Filhos de D10S roster. He averaged a 1.14 rating during his time on Galorys, helping the team win RedZone PRO League 2024 Season 1 and finish third in EPL World Series Americas Season 8.
Sharks have yet to announce who will take up the in-game leadership duties with drg out of the lineup. The 25-year-old was the longest-standing member on the roster, having signed with the organization in May 2022.

Academy player Pedro "pepe" Almeida is standing in for the main team in the ESL Challenger League, in which Sharks are currently in sixth place, with a 16-12 record.
With koala's addition, Sharks are now:
Victor "gafolo" Andrade
Daniel "rdnzao" Monteiro
Danilo "doc" Barros
João "koala" Pfeffer
Hélder "coachi" Sancho (coach)
Rodrigo "drg" Ausenka (benched)
Victor "togs" Rapassi (benched)
Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira (benched)
Mateus "supLexN1" Miranda (benched)
