With Ninjas in Pyjamas now just one round away from locking down the series and sending FURIA packing, the Brazilian side have finally started to string together rounds on the defense.
FURIA have a tall order to fill, needing five more rounds just to secure overtime, while any mistakes could seal their fate and end their run in YaLLa Compass with a whimper.
Although it seemed like FURIA were going to start keeping things competitive on Nuke, the Brazilian side struggled to string together multiple rounds, giving them little opportunity to capitalize on the broken economy of Ninjas in Pyjamas
Ninjas in Pyjamas are now just five rounds away from securing their place in the grand finals of YaLLa Compass, which would be their first LAN finals appearance since Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022.
Ninjas in Pyjamas have planted themselves in the lead on their pick of Nuke after a close start to the map, winning out the second-round force buy after FURIA secured the pistol round on the offense.
With FURIA's economy now in a tight spot, Ninjas in Pyjamas have put themselves in a good spot to extend their lead on the defense, bringing them one step closer to a grand finals appearance.

Initially down 1-5 on their pick of Ancient, Ninjas in Pyjamas mounted a resounding comeback, dropping just two more rounds for the remainder of the game, thanks to phenomenal showings from Fredrik "REZ" Sterner and Artem "r1nkle" Moroz, with the duo each securing at least 20 kills apiece.
The series now heads to the European side's pick of Nuke, where this series could wrap up quickly if REZ and r1nkle continue their monstrous performances.
The veto is in for YaLLa Compass' second semifinal, with the series kicking off on Ninjas in Pyjamas's pick of Ancient.
FURIA initially carved out a smooth start on their opponent's pick, snagging five rounds on the offense, but a stellar retake effort from Fredrik "REZ" Sterner helped to keep Ninjas in Pyjamas in this game.
What an incredible end to the series.
It was everything we deserved from this matchup and more, with clutches aplenty and some incredible late-round recoveries from The MongolZ to edge out the win.
Astralis will be kicking themselves after that loss with the number of man-advantages and almost unlosable situations they squandered with the game in their hands at multiple points, but The MongolZ will be more than happy to have taken advantage of that to make back-to-back grand final appearances.
