The EVPs and Best Five of YaLLa Compass
r1nkle and Senzu narrowly missed out in the tight race for MVP, but they earned their career-first EVPs.

The MongolZ took YaLLa Compass by storm, topping a group containing two top ten teams before taking down both Astralis and a renewed in-form Ninjas in Pyjamas on stage.
AWPer Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch was dominant enough in groups and map wins over Astralis in semis to earn the MVP, shining with a high floor and peaks in crucial BO1s over ENCE, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and HEROIC.

But, the team effort of The MongolZ is reflected in our list of EVPs. Read on to find out who made it.

Artem "r1nkle" Moroz's addition to Ninjas in Pyjamas has proved to be the match that ignited their rebuild.
A far more aggressive sniper than his predecessor, Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov, r1nkle asserts himself over games and never lets his opponents breathe. He had 0.14 opening kills per round and 0.20 multi-kills during YaLLa Compass.
He did fall off in the final, where his raw style sometimes led him to over-peek, but he leaves Abu Dhabi as a rookie to watch in 2024.

Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold has been the star of The MongolZ in 2024, and the 17-year-old stepped up with three big maps in the playoffs: 1.37 rating against Astralis on map one of the semis, followed by 1.59 and 1.64 ratings in the last two maps of the grand final.
His floor was a bit low, leaving him with too much ground to make up in the MVP race even after dominating the final, but the aggressive rifler did more than enough to secure a strong EVP.

Ayush "mzinho" Batbold was the X-factor for The MongolZ and won three 1vs2 clutches, two of which came in the grand final. 81% of his kills came in round wins, which further illustrates the impact he can have from his anchor spots.
He averaged a 1.22 rating in the squad's map wins, elevating a stat sheet that does not immediately scream EVP to a comfortable one as the third piece behind The MongolZ's trophy run.

Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato earns his first EVP of 2024 by carrying FURIA to the top of Group B and into the semi-finals.
He hit peaks of 2.17 against BetBoom and 1.70 against Eternal Fire in decisive BO1 wins, and put up a fight even as FURIA floundered in the semi-finals against Ninjas in Pyjamas.
With a 1.21 LAN rating for the year despite FURIA's many group stage exits, it is still not too late for Brazil's brightest star to force his way into the top 20 conversation.
Best Five

Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren takes the IGL mantle after leading The MongolZ to the trophy and holding his nerve in overtime victories over Astralis and Sashi.
His three teammates who earned EVPs join him alongside KSCERATO, who keeps it from being an all-Mongolian affair by fitting in as the closer.
Honorable mentions
Fredrik "REZ" Sterner was the closest to an EVP from Ninjas in Pyjamas' team effort, but did not confirm his case even after a 16-6 T side in the first half of the opening map of the grand final.
Martin "stavn" Lund, too, came close with a 1.21 event rating, but he was rarely the driving force behind Astralis's meaningful wins. His 2.05 rating on Mirage against The MongolZ was impressive, but he needed to do more on the decider to earn the EVP.
Multiple award winners

No new players are added to the list of multiple award winners in 2024, with four brand new EVPs and a debut MVP for 910.
