Johnny Speeds, Revenant compete in European Pro League playoffs

While most of the scene is enjoying a break, the playoffs of European Pro League's second division are underway.

The summer off-season is currently ongoing and the vast majority of the competitive scene is on hiatus with no tournaments to play until the middle of July.

That is not the case for the select few still competing in the European Pro League's second division, whose playoffs stage began on Thursday after a week-long group stage.

Among the teams taking part in the $10,000 event are Johnny Speeds and the recently formed Revenant squad led by Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt.

The two favorites won their opening matches in the double-elimination playoffs, and they're now heading into their upper semi-final fixtures, which will be played on Sunday. There, Revenant will face off against Finnish side Heimo and Johnny Speeds will play los kogutos.

The "real" EPL: Long asf, many boring and unimportant matches, studio event, fraud teams playground, not worth watching until play offs The better EPL: Ideal length, only the best t3 teams, high stakes every match, Online event>Studio Only Event, more interesting teams

you have to be baiting you say esl pl has too many unimportant/uninteresting teams while also admitting that european pl is tier 3 at best also no way online events are better than anything especially since the commentators and production is lightyears worse than esl

+1 watching tier 2/3 is sometimes more fun than tier 1, you never know who wins, most ESL Pro League games are either unimportant or over before they started, in EPL or CCT there is always a fun, chaotic game. Sometimes i don't wanna watch the best players, i wanna watch the best matches.

why would online be better than studio? How are the teams more interesting they are somehow even worse than the lowest lvl at ESL PL Maybe less unimportant matches but its just a regular groupstage where the matches until playoffs (only half at that) arent even on HLTV so thats hardly a point in its favor anyway The "better EPL" according to you is 2 days less and you call it "Ideal length"
