The Gathering groups released

The world's second biggest LAN event is closing in and the groups for the tournament have been released. 

As you can see in the groups, the first teams of each have received a direct invitation to the main round and are therefore seeded first. Followed by the invited teams we see the squads who qualified from the seeding cup. The four last teams will have to play themselves up during the qualifying rounds at the event.

The Gathering will kick off the 31st of March lasting till the 4th of April, and every team will be aiming for the first prize of $8,200 and five tickets to DreamHack Summer. The starting match will be between Expert-Gaming and Team Dignitas on the 1st of April at 09:00 CET. In addition, the Norwegians team will try to advance to the WCG Nordic Championship.

Well, I hope you're right! If fx show improvement, they'll be very hard to beat though. Playzone.fi have done it great lately, and we can never underestimate Swedes. Will be a nice tournament:)

i really dont see how you can say FX wont do well because its BYOC. I would assume since they are 'professional's they would at least have a computer made after 2005. Anything made after this should be able to max out 1.6 and level the playing field. BYOC LAN is probably the only competition where you cannot blame the hardware.
