Excello and CS team part ways

According to eseanews.com, Excello and their CS team have parted ways as their sponsors want to focus more on the European scene.

Team Excello who were last on display during the ESEA-I LAN playoffs, where they secured a second place only losing to Evil Geniuses, now stand without a home. Apparently Excello's sponsors do not want to keep focusing on the North American scene any more.

Their sponsors did not want to pay for their expenses regarding the LAN playoffs either, but the community stepped up and made the trip possible. But now as the sponsors have opted to pull out, Excello stands without any choice.

"Were still the same team from last season. We want it all and nothing less. Were going to continue trying to win all the leagues and events we compete in and have fun while doing so. Nothing will change within the team as far as the move from Excello. We are looking for an organization that can support us as we continue this journey", squad leader CJ "cJ_B" Banarsee told eseanews.com

Former Excello, now known as Graffiti:

United States CJ "cJ_B" Banarsee
United States Matthew "Lim" Beahan
Brazil Alex "hazard" Martins
United States Paul "pauly" Guerboyan
United States Jasone "Jstone" Caposello

The team will be seen playing in the CEVO-P playoffs and in the newly announced ESEA season six. They will be playing under the Graffiti name, while they look for a new home.

So, going after the "stronger market". Nothing new here, business is business like the real world. If a store were to join a new mall, would he join a small inconsistent mall or the gigantic mall 2 blocks away?

sin is right they've been looking for a new org for a while they only rocked XLO to attract other sponsors into thinking that if they were sponsored by XLO they must've been a really good team. They even posted a cry thread on Gotfrag...

This is just wrong. The community didn't help them to go to the lan event. ESEA paid them the 6th place prize pot before the lan event so they could make the trip. If they placed higher than 6th, ESEA would give them the extra money (Excello got 2nd and they did). They had received, supposedly, only 2 or 3 donations and none of which being over 20 dollars. Cj got a lot of flack for this.

yeah the gotfrag thread! fr0d coming in with his wisdom! :) And I remember people (in the thread) were saying Excello are not serious about this LAN since they know they won't achieve anything (hazard bashing) Guess 2nd place is not that bad! :D

I predict PCGU with the sponsorship if they can provide financial support for the team.

this is actually a really good team. CJ_B is a very unorthadox strat caller and breaks teams down. but the whole team is crazy solid they should stick together another season and see if they can go international with the guys they got.

They just officially left Excello, they were still part of them until now, they just needed an outside source of funding.

did I say something about my country? And are you scared that your country is a small bombhole that you have chosen International for your country? And maybe read the post and try to understand it before you post something. Thank you!

The team just left their home, I do not want to base an article on a silly Gotfrag thread either. They never stated "Hey, we're leaving Excello and we need support from you guys".

"Excello was unable to send us to ESEA finals, therefore look out for us under a different organizations name" they didn't find a sponsor so only kept the name excello so everyone recognised them

At the risk of sounding like a Norwegian patriot, I would say cbteam is maybe the best org-less team to pick up, at the moment.
