TALON among four teams to secure spots in Asia RMR Oceania closed qualifier
Eight Oceanic teams will play for a single spot at the Asia RMR from Tuesday.
All eight teams participating in the Perfect World Shanghai Major Oceania closed qualifier have been determined after the open qualifier reached the top four stage.
Among the four teams to move on to the closed stage are TALON, a team put together this summer featuring former 100 Thieves and Renegades in-game leader Aaron "AZR" Ward, various talent from the region, as well as a European AWPer, Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak, and former Ninjas in Pyjamas coach Daniel "djL" Narancic.

The AZR-led squad most notably beat SemperFi to join three other qualified teams — The Art of War, Arcade and Vantage — and four teams invited via Valve's Regional Standings in the closed qualifier.
Only one Asia RMR spot is on offer in the Oceania closed qualifier, and it will be decided from August 27-29 in a double-elimination bracket.
Below are the eight teams who will fight for a chance to stay on the road to the Shanghai Major:

Miłosz 'mhL' Knasiak
Corey 'nettik' Browne
Daniel 'djL' Narancic
Kristers 'keen' Dārznieks

Alejandro 'alex' Masanet
Artem 'r1nkle' Moroz

Aron 'N1ghtraid' Dang
Ažbe 'mindtr6cks' Frlan

Lam-Fung 'Terryyy' Lee
Hugo 'Oath' Correia
