The Turkish team couldn't put up a fight against a red-hot showing from Jimpphat.
MOUZ have started their BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 campaign with a statement victory over Eternal Fire, icing the Turkish team out with one-sided victories on Inferno (13-8) and Nuke (13-3).
Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek's men arrived in Serbia looking to defend their Dacha crown and fresh off a run to the semi-final of IEM Cologne, where the team took a huge stride in putting their struggles in big arenas behind them with a win over G2 in the quarter-finals.
As ever, though, the No. 3-ranked team was immovable in a studio environment, putting on a masterclass to ease past Eternal Fire and advance to the upper bracket semi-finals against paiN.

MOUZ's pick of Inferno began with Dorian "xertioN" Berman and company taking the pistol round, which eventually turned into an early 4-1 advantage. Eternal Fire kept the rounds close in the opening exchanges, however, and eventually broke MOUZ's economy to take a 6-4 lead.
MOUZ then answered with a Five-Seven round to break EF's streak to tie up the scores at 6-6, before a dominant offensive display by the siuhy-led team meant the European combine took a 13-8 victory.
That T side brutality continued on Nuke, where xertioN's multi-kills helped his team get off on the right foot. Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo was the man of the map, however, repeatedly tearing Eternal Fire apart in late rounds and winning a key 1v3 clutch to gift MOUZ a 10-2 lead at the break.

Eternal Fire's pistol win in the second half proved all for naught as MOUZ's force-buy immediately swung momentum back the other way, and the series was brought to a rapid end with Jimpphat averaging a 1.76 rating and 112 damage per round.
