The Swedish team will try different players before locking in a new roster.

Peppzor has been removed from EYE's starting five

EYEBALLERS have announced the removal of Maikil "⁠Golden⁠" Selim and Peppe "⁠Peppzor⁠" Borak from the active roster, leaving the team down to three players.

The Swedish squad plans to rebuild around the remaining core of Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell, Ludvig "⁠HEAP⁠" Alonso, and Alex "⁠poiii⁠" Nyholm Sundgren, and will hold try-outs until they settle on a starting five.

Peppzor had been with the team for nearly two years, since joining after stints in fnatic Rising and fnatic in December 2022 to replace Leo "⁠Svedjehed⁠" Svedjehed.

His best moment in the team came in 2023, when he helped EYEBALLERS to a Svenska Cuppen victory. He was also a part of the team that made the PGL Major Copenhagen EU RMR closed qualifier.

Golden's tenure on the team was shorter, as he joined from GODSENT in March when Casper "⁠SHiNE⁠" Wennerberg was moved to the bench.

EYEBALLERS have found little success this year, leading to this shakeup in the roster, as they started as a top 40 team in the HLTV World Ranking but have since dipped to 89th place.

I am not a big fan of that version. I always thought chawzzy was better as a rifler than an AWPer, which I think showed on JS too. I also dont know how well JW would work as a rifler. But +chawzzy as a rifling IGL could be really good.

Didnt even think about that, seems logical in some ways now that u say it. Could also be the case that they’re about to acquire Hampus (rumours says that johnny speeds are trying to get Hampus as well). I’d prefer jw as igl as u mentioned to be able to bring 2 talents. Adding jocab should be their main focus.

Even if they appear - they will be poached by international teams, even if we exclude NiP simply because of "the reputation is so bad no swede will go there". Zywoo also was playing in aAa, you know? Like, let's say even some team like Heroic offers you a spot instead of sitting in Eyeballers? For sure they will accept. Maybe even fnatic and Ence could be seen as better options compared to specifically Eyeballers.

Doubt it, Kassad was cheaping out and building out of "too bad for tier-1, too good for tier-2 (mostly)" players. If after doing so Bleed also locked them in a contract jail - that's just a bad look
