donk wins his fourth MVP of 2024 at BB Dacha Belgrade S2

After two below-par Big Events in a row, Counter-Strike's 17-year-old phenom was back to his best in Belgrade.

Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets has won his fifth career MVP, fourth MVP of 2024, and third back-to-back BetBoom Dacha MVP after dominating proceedings in Belgrade.

While donk's first BB Dacha Belgrade MVP came when Spirit lost to MOUZ earlier this year, he leaves the second iteration of the FISSURE-ran event with the trophy as well.

Spirit's young star opened the tournament in emphatic fashion with 1.77, 1.80, 1.98, and 2.01 ratings in the first four maps as Spirit speedran the upper bracket.

He was also top of the scoreboard by rating in Spirit's two map wins over MOUZ, their assumed main rival for the trophy, with a 1.61-rated 25-15 K-D performance in the deciding map of the upper bracket final.

With Spirit's whole team chipping in, donk was less dominant in the grand final but still ended it with 93 ADR and 54 frags to ensure another MVP.

It is his fourth of the year — though his two BB Dacha awards hold lower status than more prestigious events — and means donk is well and truly in the race for No. 1 in his first full year as a tier-one professional.
