In the other Group C match, Astralis made light work of Rooster.

BIG have qualified for the ESL Pro League S20 playoffs with a three-map victory against Complexity (Ancient 13-10, Vertigo 11-13, Dust2 13-1), who are now set to face off against Astralis in the Last Chance Stage after the Danes beat Rooster in the eight-place decider.
The match will take place on Saturday at 16:30 , with the winner earning a qualification clash against the victor of fnatic vs. MOUZ.

The result will be a much-needed boost for BIG after a rough start to the season, as the Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz-led team failed to progress to the BLAST Fall Final and suffered an early elimination at the IEM Cologne Play-In.
Rigon "rigoN" Gashi's recent performances are also an encouraging sign for BIG. The Swiss rifler is averaging a 1.19 rating in Malta — a marked improvement from his 1.02 across the last three months.
The qualification clash began on Ancient, where Complexity's talisman Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski couldn't get going, which allowed BIG to tally eight rounds on the offense despite losing against the dreaded second-round forcebuy. The German squad was then again bested immediately after winning the pistol, but came out on top in a 13-10 win after a crucial Five-Seven victory at 10-10.
Next up was Complexity's pick of Vertigo, where a back-and-forth 6-6 half was followed by a solid CT performance by EliGE and company. They won another second-round forcebuy to run away to a 12-7 lead and eventually won 13-11 after some difficulties getting themselves over the line.
After two close maps, the Dust2 decider was completely one-sided in favor of BIG. Complexity won just one round courtesy of Michael "Grim" Wince's 1v2 clutch and simply weren't given a chance against the German squad that had everyone firing on all cylinders.

On the B stream, the Group C last-place decider between Astralis and Rooster went according to expectations.
Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard both recorded 2+ ratings on the first map of Mirage, which ended 13-2 in favor of Astralis, before the Danes finished the job with a 13-5 win on Inferno to secure their first win in Malta.
Rooster exit the tournament with the loss, with the result now making it three last-place finishes in four seasons after they missed out on an appearance in S19. The Aussies won just three maps in three EPL iterations and are without a series victory in nine attempts.
