Fragadelphia 18 details announced
The American LAN heads to Kansas City and will feature up to a $50,000 prize pool.

Fragadelphia has opened signups and announced details for Fragadelphia 18, which will play out at Hy-Vee Arena in Kansas City, Missouri from December 5-8.
The tournament will feature other games for the first time, including Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, around the centerpiece Counter-Strike 2 event.
Party Astronauts, CPH Wolves, and Take Flyte are among the 14 teams already signed up, with registration costing $750 for teams with a coach and $630 for teams without a coach. Prices will increase closer to the deadline, with the current cost in place until September 30.
The tournament features a scaling prize pool based on attendance and tops out at $50,000 based on 55 teams taking part, up to a maximum of 64 teams. The organizer added that it would "consider expanding" if the limit is reached.
Fragadelphia 17 featured a $100,000 prize pool and had several European teams fly overseas to attend, including BIG Academy and Apeks. The former, captained by now-M80 in-game leader Elias "s1n" Stein, made it to the grand final before falling to EG White in the title decider.
