dastan joins PARIVISION

The new coach won't be allowed to stand behind the team at the RMR.

PARIVISION have announced the signing of coach Dastan "⁠dastan⁠" Akbayev after moving Ivan "⁠F_1N⁠" Kochugov on November 5.

PARIVISION move F_1N to inactive roster in "joint decision" ahead of RMR

The coaching change comes on the eves of the Perfect World Shanghai Major, where PARIVISION are slated to make their qualifying run in the European RMR B.

dastan won't be allowed to stand behind the team, however, as the roster lock has passed and PARIVISION's former coach F_1N was registered with the team, although he won't fly to China.

The Kazakh coach will return to action with PARIVISION since getting benched on Virtus.pro in May. He and the Armenian organization parted ways five months later, in October, after failing to find "a mutually beneficial arrangement that would allow us to work effectively together," as Virtus.pro CEO Nikolai Petrossian put it.

dastan's accolades include a trophy at BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019 with AVANGAR before the team moved to Virtus.pro, trophies at Flashpoint 2 and cs_summit 7, and a Major victory when the team played under the Outsiders moniker in 2022.
