exotic island have announced the disbandment of their Counter-Strike department.

The future of the Portuguese team had been in the balance following the departure of Christopher "mUtt" Fernandes to arch-rivals k1ck earlier today.

exotic member João "ehz" Monteiro justifies this decision with the third-place finish at the EPT 2010 tournament last weekend, which caused what he described as "emotional instability."

"The environment and morale in the team were no longer the same after what happened, also mUttt had doubts after being invited by k1ck," he told HLTV.org. "I decided that I would stop playing for some time, so I made muttt's decision much simpler."

The former BUSSIFUORI member, who noted he will still play for Portugal at the ENC before hanging up his mouse, indicated he does not know when and if he will make a comeback: "Maybe I will return, maybe not. After ENC I do not know when I will play again."

Be aware now, k1ck will be much much stronger! Cant wait to see k1ck at next international event. GL to the "new" lineup, i think the team is complete and stable now.

Completely agree with you. Now the team has one of the best IGL's, 3 excellent riflers and 1 top aw. Maintain the team like that, stick to stability and we will hear of k1ck in the international level. :D
