TYLOO move JamYoung to substitute list

JamYoung is off the Chinese team's starting roster amid rumors that he's moving to VALORANT.

Yi "⁠JamYoung⁠" Yang has been moved from TYLOO's starting roster to substitute, the Chinese organization announced on Wednesday. His replacement is yet to be announced.

The 23-year-old played his last official match earlier this month, helping TYLOO win ESL Challenger League S48 Asia-Pacific finals over Lynn Vision and earn a spot at ESL Pro League Season 21 in the process.

JamYoung had been a part of the active roster since TYLOO acquired him along with the rest of the former Rare Atom team late last year, and remained there despite the organization rebuilding the squad on multiple occasions since then.

Despite the organization garnering a star-studded lineup after a chaotic period, TYLOO missed a chance to compete at their home Major in Shanghai. They came up short after losing to their local rivals, Rare Atom, in the final of the Asia RMR Chinese qualifier.

Really weird and unfortunate decision. This TYLOO "superteam" didnt even get tested on international games yet. I hope zdr (chinese donk) will be a good replacement.

Somehow they couldn't win vs their regional competition to qualify for any international tournaments. It's kinda puzzling how this core from the old Rare Atom has constantly been losing to the new roster.

Well actually this new tyloo roster has only lost once to rare atom in the rmr qualifier. Other than that they have absolutely smoked everyone. 26-4 against RA on lan and 3-0 against Lynn for a spot in the EPL.

Except they lost almost every qualifying match for an international tournament. Shanghai major, IEM Rio, Blast fall showdown, Pro league season 20, EWC. Almost always giving the spot to RA or Lynn Vision.

I'm just so sad, I was so hyped about their squad in the next year. I think they actually had a potential to be top 15 team and he decided to switch now, why? I would understand if he fails next year and went to valorant, but now?

DANK1NG had said that JamYoung wanna switch to VALORANT after major elimination, being replaced by zdr.

And he had played even more Valorant matches than DANK1NG, whom had playing in Chinese Valorant secondary tournaments.

Cant understand but respect. I dont think turn to valo is a good and correct choice because of great rivalry, and the new team of Tyloo didnt be tested on international stage. Its a pity that he hasnt left his name in this game. zdr will replace Jamyoung and before ECL, Moseyuh has been IGL for Tyloo. I wish double M could get their stickers next year.

If the switch is only due to missing out on the Major he needs to look in the mirror a bit for what happened against Rare Atom. He all but disappeared in that final series to try and get to the RMR. However, I will miss him but Jee has been the player to watch as of late.
