Techno on playing in front of the Asian crowd: "It's a big advantage for us"
The Mongolian player said his team must be wary of overconfidence in the playoffs.

The MongolZ are the second team to make it out of the Shanghai Major's Elimination Stage after moving past HEROIC 2-1 in a hard-fought series. The Mongolians make it six wins in a row at the Major, having started their campaign in the Opening Stage.
The Asian giants continue to defy the odds at this Major, but Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold cautioned his team to stay focused. "We're playing really good Counter-Strike, but we cannot feel overconfident," he told HLTV after the match. "We're not done yet."
Techno said everyone on the team is more experienced and composed in big games after learning the lessons from the disastrous showing in the Copenhagen Major's Elimination Stage. Heading into the playoffs, he expects the Chinese fans to continue to cheer on The MongolZ. "It's a big advantage for us, I think."
Techno, congratulations, 3-0 through the first stage, 3-0 through this stage, straight to the playoffs of the Major. What does that mean to you?
I think we're playing good Counter-Strike and we're playing confident. That's a good thing for us. I think it's great.
How does it feel, personally?
I'm feeling great. Really excited to play. It's the first time in this stage of a Major.
Coming into the Shanghai Major, a lot of people saw that you were coming up and that your results were getting better. But to actually do it and get through before a team like NAVI or G2… How big of a result is it for Mongolia and Asian CS?
Honestly, I think we've been improving really well in the last year. Tournament to tournament and step by step, we've been improving a lot. That's a good thing for us.
The series almost got out of control. Anubis was ridiculous. Can you tell me how you felt playing that map, because you almost let a big lead slip? So being able to take that over the line after all of that.
To be honest, I fucked up. However, my team got my back and managed to win it. They almost came back but that's okay. We will just fix our mistakes. I think there was a little bit of mental pressure for everyone in the team.
Heading into the playoffs, how do you feel about the chance to win a Major?
As I said before, we're playing really good Counter-Strike, but we cannot feel overconfident. We're not done yet.
You're going to have all the fans in the arena behind you. There are going to be more fans when we get to the actual arena. How much does that support mean to you?
It's a big honor to be in the Asian Major and with an Asian crowd. It's a big advantage for us, I think.
You were at the last Major, where you didn't make it to the playoffs. This time, Senzu is playing super well, Mzinho is playing super well. To now make it this far, how does it feel to see the players clicking and playing this well?
Compared to the last Major, we've got more experience. We're playing more confidently, and we're not shaking in the game.
Do you think losing at the last Major the way that you did helped you at this one?
I think so. Every loss is a great experience. It shows what we do wrong, what we do right. We just fixed things.
I know you said you don't want to be overconfident, but is MongolZ winning the Major?
I don't want to jinx it. I will just play the game.
