Sangal part ways with SaMey
The Turkish organization makes a change mere days into the tournament break.

Sangal have announced the departure of Dawid "SaMey" Stańczak, ending the Polish sniper's seven-month stint with the team.
The roster change comes after Sangal struggled at Europe RMR B for the Perfect World Shanghai Major, failing to live up to expectations as dark horses to make the Major by crashing out with low, single-digit rounds tallied on maps against MOUZ, Cloud9, and ECLOT.
The team couldn't mentally recover from crushing best-of-one defeats and didn't play up to the level of the Sangal seen in the lead-up to the RMR, which won three online CCT titles and made appearances at ESL Pro League S20 and RES Regional Champions.

"This tournament at least and maybe the few weeks before felt like we're maybe missing some elements that we need," Linus "LNZ" Holtäng told HLTV after Sangal's RMR elimination. "I'm not quite sure what they are, but we just have to re-evaluate and return better for 2025."
SaMey joined Sangal from ex-Anonymo in May and averaged a 1.02 rating over 192 maps during his tenure, but his performances dipped substantially on LAN (0.88, 27 maps) and particularly against top-20 opponents (0.81, 13 maps).
The Pole's departure may not be the only change to Sangal in the off-season as rumors surround Samet "jottAAA" Köklü's future with the team. The Turkish rifler is on loan from Eternal Fire, who suffered an early RMR exit and could make changes, and rumors within the Turkish scene have also linked him to interest from G2.
Sangal are now:
