The Swede leaves the Czech-majority side after heartbreak at the Shanghai Major RMRs.

ECLOT narrowly missed out on their first Major appearance in one of their last tournaments with kreaz

ECLOT have parted ways with their in-game leader, Rasmus "⁠kreaz⁠" Johansson, the Czech organization announced on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old Swede is now searching for a new opportunity as a free agent. "I'm looking to continue as an IGL but open for suggestions," he said on X.

kreaz spent a year with ECLOT. For most of that time the Czech-majority side's biggest successes came locally with five titles in the six local LANs they played, until they made it to the Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR through the closed qualifier to secure their first and only international LAN appearance of the year.

In Shanghai in November, ECLOT narrowly missed out on a place at the Major after an overtime showdown on map three against fnatic in the 2-2 deciders went the other way.

CZ scene kinda looks like BR scene, there is probably a very good t2 team if you pick up all the right pieces but all the talent is scattered on dead projects (insani, dumau, decenty aren't very far from forsyy, truck driver oskar and EL RACISTO)

You have really short memory, Oskar single handedly carried them to RMR with insane perfomances. Someone else could have stepped up on RMR, like Majky or Moriisko but none of them did. And Beastik's IGLing has been lackluster for a very long time, no tactical depth, only reaction play based on the first pick. Their executions and fakes are horrible.

I'm talking about the RMR, not closed qualifier, that was months before that. You just can't have an awp player that the team relies on that whiffs so many easy shots and crumbles under the pressure of qualification. You can excuse the two rookies, it was literally their first big event.
