Starry returns to Lynn Vision

The 19-year-old is back in LV after a short stint in TYLOO.

Starry had left Lynn Vision in August, but is back before the new year

Lynn Vision has announced the return of rifler Lizhi "⁠Starry⁠" Ye, who is back with his former team after transferring from TYLOO.

The 19-year-old made a name for himself with Lynn Vision between 2021 and August 2024, averaging a 1.14 rating during that time, and was on the team's books when they reached their peak 23rd place in the world ranking in November 2023.

That Lynn Vision roster broke out internationally with appearances at ESL Pro League Season 18, IEM Sydney, the PGL Major in Copenhagen, and IEM Chengdu, but never managed to make it out of the group stages. During the summer break, Starry and Dongkai "⁠Jee⁠" Ji left the team to join local rivals TYLOO.

Starry now reunites with his former teammates after beating them in his last match with TYLOO, the ESL Challenger League Season 48 Asia-Pacific grand final, and parts ways with his longtime teammate Jee.

as long as JamYoung is motivated I like it. I know everyone needs to make a living but if he didn't think CS was the avenue does, he really think it will work now? IE. Is his motivation and mindset as good as ever. It's almost sad to think how they went from rising team to complete disarray once they hit their ceiling with the Rare Atom line-up. Removing both Advent and Kaze at the same time was the start of their downfall and waste of like a year+ of 3 young talents development. I don't want to see them waste away like xign after Solo, Glow, peri, and termi all left...

Yes I also heard that JamYoung failed his valorant tryouts. However i don't think he is coming back to cs yet. So tyloo didn't kick starry for JamYoung.

Lynn Vision did not profit from anything except removing jee - both starry and jee left bcs their contracts ended

Tyloo not buying these players also led to their eventual failure at the rmr quals bcs the team did not have enough time to play together. Also proves my point of how tyloo is broke

Tyloo really had the best Chinese roster I've ever seen and still somehow it didn't work. They had 4 players who could easily make it into top teams in Europe. Cursed org who probably bring back 600 year old zhoking from coaching instead of fostering new talent.

From what I remember he was quite inconsistent, but he's still young and would have room to grow. Tbh I'd have him down on flyquests new awper list, along with z4kr. Chinese cs is growing quickly. They just need to establish their tier two scene a bit more and they could be a top country like Mongolia is becoming. EDIT: Jee was far better than I remember, all 5 players could have a good crack in EU

Yeah the starting point is good though, but it's more about commercial value imo. Besides CNCS team has never been great before and probably never will in near future in CS2, they were good in CS 1.6 once and it's very long ago.
