The Polish player enters free agency on January 1 and is in search of a new home.

Monte has announced the departure of 21-year-old Szymon "⁠kRaSnaL⁠" Mrozek, with the Polish rifler set to enter free agency on January 1.

It is the second move of the off-season for Monte after it moved Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun to the bench and parted ways with coach Piotr "⁠nawrot⁠" Nawrocki on December 20, leaving just three players standing heading into the new year.

kRaSnaL ends a two-year tenure with the Ukrainian organization during which he made a surprise quarter-finals run at the BLAST.tv Paris Major and helped lift its first international LAN trophy at ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023.

While 2023 had two clear highlights, 2024 was not so kind as Monte missed PGL Major Copenhagen after faltering at the RMR, their preparation affected by illness from Viktor "⁠sdy⁠" Orudzhev.

The Ukrainian's departure by mutual agreement soon after came as a huge blow to the lineup as it struggled to recover from the loss of its second voice and star, with different academy players getting the call-up in the months that followed with much success.

After the tournament break, Monte pivoted to a Polish-majority roster and reached the semi-finals at ESL Challenger Katowice, but had an otherwise dismal end to the year. They missed the Perfect World Shanghai Major after exiting the Europe RMR closed qualifier with a 2-3 record and failed to qualify for any notable LANs, leaving just online cups on the table for the rest of the year.

During his tenure, kRaSnaL averaged a 1.05 rating (1.00 LAN) and played largely anchor roles on CT side and in the pack on T. His last official with the team came in a 1-2 loss to ECLOT in the semi-finals for 500 Casino Christmas Cup.

"My contract expires on January 1st, so I'm free to seek new opportunities without any buyout," the Pole stated on X. "My motivation never left, and I'm ready to join a team and start the grind right away."

After kRaSnaL's departure on January 1, Monte will be left with:

Kylar is genuinely a good player, I mean he had to play with dycha, hades and kuben on coach in a Polish Majority team and before EPL he was the only reedeming quality of ENCE and sole reason why they hang in the top20 but ever since he been shafted into the starplayer roles he fell off and not even sdy taking them from him made a diff. You can pretty much say dycha and hades ruined Kylar. As for mynio, the only thing you can say about him was that he was insanely burnt out

kylar with hades was in his best form, he achieved higher level with hades at 9ine, even in some part at ence, more it was dycha and kuben,

i think the roster will be too passive, if you add kylar and mynio and you have to force somebody to play more agressive, so dycha again? Kylar couldn't adapt to tier 1 and couldn't keep the form, which is crucial on the highiest level.I think mynio wasn't the issue in 9ine, but the roster having an off form, which is normal.Polish lineup ruined dycha and hades is not good enough for tier 1 adding his ego.

Agreed mynio wasn't exactly a problem in 9INE but having a burned out IGL isn't good. Hades and dycha are your typical fake nice guys, if its anyone ruining smth its those two. Kuben is also unfit for Polish roster BUT with INTERNATIONAL rosters he's fockin amazing. As for Kylar, he did adapt but then the whole roles drama happened the new roster that was even more disfunctional so yeah for the whole year he was in a team that was dysfunctional and it wasn't even his fault. And neither it was gla1ve's fault. Genuinely the only option Monte has is just disband at this point, Jcobbb is in Apogee and Kacpersky is in ENCE. So yeah let go of hades and dycha and rebuild around DemQQ

i think kylar should be trying in international teams already, because he will waste his career here.Kuben needs structure to work, which was lacking in ence, because of sudden igl change.In terms of 9ine i think by kicking him they just ruined their roster.Imagine having a year, where you get to the major and tier one events and then your form drops and you bench your igl? what? I think they needed to grind, not change.

Imo KEi needed to be changed not mynio cause KEi was solely a play-in Merchant. Imago Jcobbb replacing KEi by that point we'd prolly have the kid already stabilized and KEi could go fuck off to Alternate ATTAX or somewhere else (I heard KEi can speak German someway). Until Kylars contract in ENCE isn't expired he's prolly gonna play for fun in mixes, hell he even applied to Los Kogutos Yeah kuben needs a good structure, unironically he'd get along with HooXi cause that guy is all about structure (thats prolly why they never gave him a chance with malbs on the G2 roster)
