Sources: Falcons in talks over HEROIC trio

The Saudi organization is hoping to secure a ready-made core to get a boost in the Valve Ranking.

TeSeS, kyxsan and degster could be joining Falcons

Falcons are locked in discussions with HEROIC over the triple signing of Damjan "⁠kyxsan⁠" Stoilkovski, René "⁠TeSeS⁠" Madsen and Abdul "⁠degster⁠" Gasanov, sources with knowledge of the situation told HLTV and independent reporter Guillaume 'neL' Rathier.

The Saudi organization is hoping to pair the trio with Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač and Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif and form a lineup that can secure invites to the biggest events through HEROIC's Valve Ranking points.

Talks between the two organizations are understood to be at an advanced stage, but Falcons have yet to agree on personal terms with the players.

If completed, the transfer could leave HEROIC with only one player, Rasmus "⁠sjuush⁠" Beck, amid reports that Guy "⁠NertZ⁠" Iluz is on his way to Liquid to fill the gap created by Mareks "⁠YEKINDAR⁠" Gaļinskis's benching.

Many teams even FaZe will benefit with a coach like Saw . I think Twistzz is working very close to mithrr and he's been there ever since he started igling so i dont think it'll happen and mithrr is also a much needed hypeman for the team with jks,naf and ultimate.

I just think liquid is best for him because it’s not a fully established team, saw coming and trying to alter the system in a team like vitality will cause arguments between apex and him. one major with zywoo when the scene was weak is not that impressive. it's his 4 majors with astralis that elevate him above blade for now. but when blade wins his 3rd or 4th major imo they can become tied for all time achievement, because the astralis success was ALL one roster (ignoring kjaerbye for certain reasons). it's really difficult to say how good a coach is when he keeps working with the same players for that long. doesn't mean he must be overrated but it means we just can't tell how good he was. in terms of dealing with different players zonic and blade are already tied, maybe blade even has an advantage. after all he had magisk AND dupreeh on vitality. blade kept only b1t around. best coach nowadays is blade. best coach all time is zonic until blade wins more majors. imo this is an unfair standard. during astralis era 1. the scene was less competitive. 2. astralis farmed blasts which aren't going to be a thing moving forward. so in the future you can't really compare lifetime achievement in number of "notable trophies", not unless the new schedule provides enough of those (depends on where tier 1 teams choose to play, right? I'm a little in the dark about these plans still) and the scene settles back into a state where one team can dominate. navi's second half of 2024 actually was as dominant as astralis era - until they botched the major. so it turned from a dominant season into just a long streak in a competitive season. I'm not sure any team can ever replicate the astralis era and it's not because astralis were god gamers, it's that the low hanging fruit get fewer every season. the floor is rising while the ceiling stagnates. only mega-talented individuals like donk can still shake things up in tier 1 now.

1. the level played in tier 1 was a joke compared to now. the peaks may be similar but the floor was pathetic. a tier 1 team today would casually stroll through any tournament in 2015 because every team back then just made so many small mistakes round after round that add up to where it's not a competitive affair. some of that also had to do with MR15 BO3s and even BO5+ being common where now you're lucky if you get more than one BO3 before you're eliminated. there was LOW HANGING FRUIT to find and astralis happened to do the best job of harvesting that while other teams played a less cerebral, less coordinated style that was more about mechanics and momentum. nowadays all teams are extremely tactically sound. there aren't the same gaps to exploit. 2. so you think tier 1 teams will attend all the same events? because if more teams act like mouz and spirit did in 2024 then there are fewer tier 1 trophies to win, regardless of what the prize pools or Valve points are. we will see.

+1 Vitality ropz is probably the best move, business-wise. Heavygod probably cost a lot and he is still unproven and was sometimes undisciplined. Buying a core is kinda stupid. Most of the time, the chemistry won't work with the other players. Faze elige is decent, but it is not a cheap move. Nertz has probably an insane buyout and liquid will still have problems with the leadership.
