New fantasy season starts with $10,000 in prizes

The first HLTV fantasy game of the season is going live with the BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals.

This Fantasy season, as usual, offers $10,000 to the 10 best players at its conclusion after the Austin Major. The prize distribution will be:

1. $5000
2. $2000
3. $1000
4-10. $300

- The quarter-finals and semi-finals are BO3, the grand final is BO5.

With this bracket, it’s crucial to pick players who are set to go the furthest in order to ensure as many points as possible.

If you believe that a certain player will be eliminated after the first round, you can consider getting him with the intention of applying the Chicken Out booster that would guarantee -6 points by the end of the game.

Player prices

The top three players in the world, Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets, Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov, and Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut are, as usual, far ahead of everyone else in terms of prices. The Player of the Year, donk, has a slightly higher price than the other two, yet he’s still one of the most picked players in the game.

What at least in part helped facilitate donk’s pick count was the presence of a way cheaper Vladislav "⁠nafany⁠" Gorshkov at $170k. Considering his performance history and the team’s situation, he is not expected to be the point earner, but he’s a popular saver choice due to the aforementioned application of Chicken Out in the single-elimination format.
