Sweden joins ESWC country list

Sweden has been included in the list of countries that will organise a qualifier for this year's ESWC Finals.

A provisional list released by the ESWC last month containing 28 countries had left the Scandinavian country out in the cold, which raised fears that a proper partner in Sweden would not be found.

On the ESWC's official page, an updated version of the roster is now available, which shows that National Strategic Partners (NSP) have already been found in 30 different countries, with the additions being Sweden and Bosnia.

However, the ESWC has not yet announced who will organise the qualifier in Sweden or when it will be held.

ESWC 2010 country list:

Algeria Algeria - April 21
Argentina Argentina
Brazil Brazil - May 30
Bosnia and Herzegovina Bosnia and Herzegovina
Cameroon Cameroon - May 30
Other Caribbean
Colombia Colombia - April 9
China China
Croatia Croatia
France France - May 22
Ghana Ghana
Greece Greece
India India - May 14
Indonesia Indonesia - June 6
Iran Iran - April 20
Kuwait Kuwait
Malaysia Malaysia
Mexico Mexico
Nigeria Nigeria
Peru Peru - May 28
Poland Poland
Portugal Portugal
Romania Romania - May 29
Russia Russia
Sweden Sweden
Slovenia Slovenia - May 8
Tunisia Tunisia
Ukraine Ukraine
United Arab Emirates United Arab Emirates
United Kingdom United Kingdom

The 2010 ESWC World Finals will take place from June 30 through to July 4 at Disneyland Park in Paris, with $73,500 to be handed out in the male Counter-Strike tournament alone.

gogogogogo Brazil and Ukraine.. i want to see some fallen, fnx, and the rest of FireGamers please.. FG could be so good, but mibr was the only company over there that could send them to sweden to bootcamp and to attend almost every tournament.. Jason Lake and complexity should've picked them up..FG would have a way better chance against top tier teams and that can win international tourney's.. Not to mention FG would destroy the new coL lineup, coL just got 16-1 by rambo's knew team lol...and rambo fucking dominated.. a little off topic sorry, just miss the Brazilian guys.. ESWC, always amazing..

USA doesn't deserve a spot lol..i root against my country lol.. EG has surprised me though, kinda baffled there isn't a usa qualifier.. EG would win, because they can at least compete over halfway internationally.. the only team i would root for outta America would be if Rambo's new team wins the qualifier..lol, and Rambos new team beat the new complexity lineup 16-1 lmao.. and Rambo has been fucking dominating lately..he was like 23-3 against coL when they won 16-1..

yea he's back and I watched it, both teams were trying their ass off..so idc if it was lan or online, because right now, coL would lose to them on LAN imo..if they get their shit together than the probably can be 3rd or maybe with great luck 2nd best team in the u.s. (which isn't saying much) and i actually like evo and xp3, but i don't think they'll do much.. UE > coL (currently and hopefully permanently)

Yes, ue > coL in a meaningless scrim once. This is exactly why people can't ESEA scrim, fanboys will never understand that scrim results mean nothing.
