The 18-year-old Ukrainian returns to Monte, having previously featured for their academy roster.

Monte have announced the addition of Vladyslav "⁠leen⁠" Stepanov, bringing their ex-academy player into the squad to replace Paweł "⁠dycha⁠" Dycha.

leen was previously a stalwart of Monte Gen, playing for the academy squad for over a year from November 2023 to January 2025. He served as a solid piece of the team, averaging a 1.05 rating over this period.

The young rifler arrives in a Monte side experiencing mixed results in recent times, going from the high of a second-place finish in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 16 to a near-last-place exit in Europe Series 17.

A stiff challenge awaits leen in his debut for Monte, as they face off against a red-hot PARIVISION in ESL Challenger League.

pUA and B8 are 10x easier to support and watch than monte ever were. Monte had good players but idiot at social media who just make this team too easy to dislike.

"easier to support" Monte didn't ask for your support in particular. It's a Ukrainian organization, the only one which behaved on social media the same way as all other Ukrainian sportsmen and sport teams do. We are proud of Monte.

yes because pUA and B8 play good CS and stick with UA core. They bringing through newgen UA players also instead of using big UA names and bringing people from other country. Its ok they talk like they are face of UA sports and such but they don't/won't ever field full UA team, why?

No idea, ask their CEO who was too greedy to keep the major play-off roster They had their beautiful moment in 2023, they wiped the floor with Navi, who put a shade on the whole Ukrainian eSports from February 2022 to Summer 2023. We will be forever thankful to them for this. Right now the org indeed looks finished, but their good deeds will never be forgotten.

Well he has been actually terrible in their academy, soooo... I don't know, Monte actually looked like a somewhat dangerous roster, and it still kinda does, I think they can be a very dangerous team, but this is... not a pickup I hoped for to say the least, they should try to get someone who can be more of a star rifler, and they got this guy... I'm sad about that honestly, with all respect to him.
