dycha benches himself from Monte
The former ENCE rifler is set to take a short break from competition until after BLAST.tv Austin Major.

Paweł "dycha" Dycha has announced that he is stepping down from Monte's active lineup, and that he will be taking a short break from competition. This announcement ends the Polish rifler's seven-month stint of actively competing with the Ukrainian organization.
dycha joined Monte in July 2024 alongside ENCE teammate Olek "hades" Miskiewicz. The Polish-speaking side found limited success during dycha's tenure, narrowly missing out on a place at the Perfect World Shanghai Major EU RMRs while netting just one LAN appearance, a semi-final finish at ESL Challenger Katowice in October 2024.
Since promoting Monte Gen prospects Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen and Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas at the beginning of the year, the international squad has found mixed results, finishing in second place in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 16, before crashing out of Series 17 in 20-22nd place.

"Earlier this month, I asked the organization to be removed from the team's active roster," dycha shared regarding the move. "We mutually agreed to play out the remaining matches to maintain the VRS ranking without major disruption.
"After concluding this, I've decided to take a short break from competition.
"My goal remains the same—I want to keep competing at the highest level of CS, and I'm still highly motivated to make this happen."
Monte are now:
Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko
Olek "hades" Miskiewicz
Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen
Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas
Ivan "AiyvaN" Semenets (coach)
Paweł "dycha" Dycha (inactive)
