B8 win CCT S18 over BC.Game
The Ukrainian side's run of success in the past month has put them on a path to invites to PGL Astana and the BLAST.tv Austin Major qualifiers.

B8 have come out victorious from CCT Season 2 Europe Series 18 to clinch their first trophy of 2025 and earn $22,000 for their efforts.
The Ukrainian side beat Monte, CYBERSHOKE and 9 Pandas in relatively convincing fashion on the way to the final, where they had to come back from a map down and a 4-9 deficit on Anubis against BC.Game to round off their successful campaign.

As a result of the prizemoney bump and a great track record in the past month, in which they went 15-3 in matches over four tournaments, B8 have now climbed to 21st place in the Valve Regional Standings after starting in 40th at the beginning of February.
That could have significant implications for the events the team could be invited to attend for the rest of the season.
Next week's update of the VRS will determine invites to PGL Astana, which has 12 global spots on offer and which many teams currently placed above B8 are likely to skip due to it ending the day before IEM Dallas begins.
In early April, invites to the BLAST.tv Austin Major and its qualifiers will go out. Teams ranked 11th-26th in the European standings will be invited to the Major Regional Qualifier, with B8 now sitting in 16th place following their CCT success.
