The Danish rifler is a free agent after over a year on the bench.

k0nfig has been out of action since February 2024

Ninjas in Pyjamas have announced the release of Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke, ending a partnership that began at the start of 2023.

The Danish rifler spent just over a year on Ninjas in Pyjamas' active roster and notably attended BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, where he and his team came within one victory of the playoffs.

His stint in Ninjas in Pyjamas ended in February 2024 after the team failed to make it through the PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR A, where the team went out in last place and missed out on a Major spot for the first time since 2018.

The 27-year-old came close to signing for TSM in the summer alongside Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer, according to the team's coach, Allan "⁠Rejin⁠" Petersen. The move fell through due to blameF going to fnatic, however, which left k0nfig teamless for a while longer.

Thought about it, and honestly, just to get some VRS points and stay afloat I’d do it. The team needs an overhaul, it would be nice to support NA talent but there isn’t any good enough that are available and CoL are about to drop like a rock through the rankings with all of these losses. They tried but it isn’t working, they just dropped T.C as a coach as well. They gotta do something to save the org
