RED Canids sign drop
The 21-year-old has quickly found a new team after being benched in February.

RED Canids have announced the signing of André "drop" Abreu, who will replace Marcelo "nyezin" Ramos and take over as the team's captain. The announcement confirms a recent report by Dust2 Brazil.
nyezin will remain with RED Canids, serving as the team's sixth man. He is currently on loan from paiN.
drop arrives having made his name playing as an anchor for FURIA across 2021-2023, before spending the better part of the last two years turning out for MIBR. He generally played less desirable roles and his rating reflects that, posting an average rating of 0.99 for FURIA and 1.03 for MIBR.
The 21-year-old garnered experience as an IGL towards the end of his time on MIBR, guiding the squad to a top-four finish at EPL Season 20 soon after he took up the leadership reins. He also helped the team make the Elimination Stage of Perfect World Shanghai Major, where they narrowly missed out on a playoff berth.

Overall, however, MIBR failed to kick on after drop's move to the IGL role, particularly in international competition where they regularly suffered early tournament exits. Following a disappointing start to 2025, when MIBR were eliminated early from BLAST Bounty, IEM Katowice Stage 1, and PGL Cluj-Napoca, drop requested to be moved to the bench.
With this signing, RED Canids are now:
Henrique "HEN1" Teles
Marcelo "coldzera" David
Carlos "venomzera" Eduardo
João "felps" Vasconcellos
André "drop" Abreu
Pedro "beto" Umberto (coach)
