Jumpy announces retirement

Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson has decided to announce his retirement from professional gaming, making space for ex-SK member Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström.

It has been in the cards all week, that Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström would join forces with MYM. The suggestions to who he would replace were many, but when it was announced that Sjöström would play the Swedish Championship instead of Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson, the roster changes all of a sudden fell into place.

Berndtsson done with his pro-gaming stint

Berndtsson has decided to part with MYM and professional gaming, based on his motivations factor and the skill to keep the same energy for the game. Berndtsson was with MYM when the team switched from Begrip to MYM, taking second at Global Challenge Dubai 2010 and first at DreamHack Winter 2009.

It is no surprise that Berndtsson will be replaced by Sjöström, who this weekend is with the team in Stockholm, competing in the Swedish Championship. Emil "FYRR73" Karlsson will be the guy calling the tactics for the team, which originally was Berndtsson task.

cs wasnt really his game ? what so because he wasnt the best player in the world he sucked ? MYM under his strategies did pretty well for a young new vibrant team. If they didnt lose moddii (and then forced to rebuilt with FYRTTE - you never know where they would be today. I seem to be at a minority here, but anyways Thanks Jumpy for giving us some awesome matches, GL with the future and hope you move onto something you have more passion for.

they all played well because of him, you try to be a strat caller, and see that everyone does what he is supposed to be, and than u'll see, how hard it is for you to play, so stop making those smart ass affirmations! Think before you speak, as an ingame leader, you have to first see that your team mates do what they have to, and than second mind your game, and frankly MYM did well when everybody listened to jumpy.

random fuckups, each player have a diffrent role in this team, jumpy is an in game leader for you noobies hwo doesnt know anything about the game obviously. He only took fight when he was the last man standin and pretty much only forest and a few others can pull of those situations. All do respect for Jumpy , he wasn't a good tac leader , when MYM had moddiii , moddiii outshooted everyone , and you didn't need good tactics , when moddiii left , MYM couldn't win anymore. And then you needed some good tac's , but mym playd how , they playd , nothing changed. When with FYRR73 they couldn't win anything , then they where looking for the weakest link , which is Jumpy , so they changed him :) When you have good aimers on your team , you don't need good strats. With moddiii, they had mix strats and they playd very well. Without moddiii mix strats they where bad :P I was chating with Jumpy a time ago , before a event , it was the 1st serious event for some MYM players , they won fnatic on dust2 i think, and Jumpy told me that moddiii is the best aimer from MYM , so when he left it was clear who was the powerhouse. And Jumpy wasn't near skillwise with other players , so they changed him. Lets see how this will turn out. 1st Day , ESWC qual. mym are playing well , but not so great enemy's :P Goodluck Jumpy and goodluck mym :p

Jumpy got a two 1st place finishes at major tournaments , and one 2nd place finish at another major tournament.. he was a great igl, but i've never seen someone so smart do the dumbest shit in matches, plus his reaction time was shit.. MY FAV TEAM JUST GOT BETTER..TOP 5 this year i gurantee it, i stuck with these MYM fuckies when they were in a slump.. <3 this lineup and teams with Edward and markeloff have been in my top 3 fav teams for awhile..glad my teams are doing good again.. top 5 favorites for me 1. MYM (my favorite team sense they were in begrip with hibb) 2. Na`Vi (any team sense hellraisers and DTS that have markeloff and Edward on their team have been in my top 3 3. cbteam (ever sense REAL, prb, and syrtekz came back, ALWAYS TOP3 FOR ME) 4. Playzone.se 5. coL.us (and i hate american teams) not necessarily the best teams, #1 and #2 just my favorite for a 1-3 years..and any team that REAL is on are immediately in my top 5 lol.. PZ i love watching, but they better start showing up on lan.. and coL is the first American team that has been in my top 5 fav teams for as long as i can remember, if ever..Euro CS is just so much better and more interesting.. 6. would prob be UNiTED

EG is/was the highest paid team in the US, with the most availablity to practice and travel out of any North American team. I don't think it'll make a difference jumpy leaving tactically because Zet even quoted in an interview they dont even practise strats they just play each others individual game and play aggressive and that's it. Obviously the new tacleader will make a change because they will wanna do proper strats gl MYM and jumpy!
