OG have announced the permanent signing of Nico "⁠nicoodoz⁠" Tamjidi to give their Counter-Strike roster a Danish majority.

The Danish AWPer has been playing with the team since February after the organization removed Mădălin-Andrei "⁠MoDo⁠" Mirea and helped them win CCT Season 2 Europe Series 20 as well as place second in the PGL Bucharest Closed Qualifier.

nicoodoz averaged a 1.12 rating across 73 maps of play and played a key part in turning around a period of lackluster results.

OG's good form with the Dane means they are set to receive an invite to the Austin Major MRQ due to being ranked at No. 27 in the Valve rankings, which gives the organization a solid chance to return to a Major for the first time since BLAST Paris 2023.

"I'm thrilled to officially join OG after an incredible month with the team," nicoodoz said in a statement.

"From day one, I've felt welcomed and supported, and I couldn't be happier to continue this journey together. We've already achieved great things, and this is just the beginning."
