Complexity steamroll Falcons with ease

Falcons found themselves outclassed in every department as Complexity earned their best LAN win of the year.

Complexity have cruised to a 1-0 record in PGL Bucharest by picking apart Falcons with ease, earning a 2-0 victory with wins on Train (13-6) and Dust2 (13-5).

Falcons never got going in this series, finding themselves outplayed tactically and out-fragged by an in-form Complexity side.

Complexity are one of the few sides trying to make Train a home map, and it bore fruit today as they were incredibly comfortable on both sides of the map, leaving Falcons floundering.

On Dust2 Falcons should have had more going for them, but they couldn't handle the individual power Complexity brought to the table, nor the NA side's proactive CT sides.

Complexity build upon online win streak

Complexity have put together a good run online in recent times, casting off a poor start to the year that saw them pick up a single victory on LAN over Imperial Valkyries. They have now stretched their win streak to 12 matches, with this win over Falcons being by far the best of the bunch.

Not only were Complexity a slick unit, but their individuals provided immense impact. Håkon "⁠hallzerk⁠" Fjærli was a menace with the AWP, finding repeated opening picks, and rookies Nick "⁠nicx⁠" Lee and Danny "⁠Cxzi⁠" Strzelczyk provided multi-kills and intelligent plays beyond their minimal experience.

Falcons suffer from dead team debuff

Everyone knows that Abdul "⁠degster⁠" Gasanov will soon be departing Falcons's roster in favour of Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov, and today Falcons played like a team well aware of that fact. They were sluggish individually, disjointed as a team, and seemed to fold without much fight as Dust2 wore on.

This was a poor showing, even if Complexity were surprisingly potent on the other side of the server. Falcons will have to up their game by a least a couple of gears if they want to avoid exiting this tournament with an 0-3 record.

Falcons will never be top contender. This aproach of infinite oil money will never work. You need a team with strong teamplay with chemistry. You wont achieve that with this oil aproach. All you achieve is that you bring paycheck stealers into a team. They will bring niko who obviously dont even care anymore. He has his check every month. You bring washed monesy who will obviously dont care... Funny thing is that true GOAT players like zywoo would never go into falcons. Even if they were free and got 10x times more. True GOAT players know which team have a future. No GOAT players like midnessy doesnt know anything yet. But maybe they will learn.

ZywOo is like the face of the organisation now and they're slowly building him up to take leader mantle once he's of a certain age I suppose. Ofc he's not going to leave. Vitality in due time got alot of shit for decisions but I guess most of the people (including me sometimes, gonna admit) missed the bigger picture they're seeing.

you can tell just from his reactions that he clearly cares. That take is soo bad. Niko went to falcons because they can buy him any combination of good players whereas almost every other org is strapped for cash these days. First it will be monesy, then magisk or teses if they keep playing badly. This could be a roster of 5 top 20 players eventually

No, three of these players were together in Heroic last year and they have been improving gradually. Kyxsan is a competent IGL and they have NiKo. It's not like they're a bad team. Also, players have an individual responsibility to perform. G2 played well even though they're a dead roster.
