Legacy 2-0 Liquid on siuhy's debut

Liquid found themselves comfortably brushed aside, partly due to some poor mid-round decisions.

dumau shone bright on Anubis to help his team grab the upset

Legacy have handed Liquid an embarrassing defeat on Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek's debut for his new side, taking victories on Nuke (13-4) and Anubis (13-10).

Nuke was a one-sided affair due to a poor Liquid CT side. Liquid gave up two man-advantage situations early on in the half, one to a Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco ace clutch, struggling with their economy as a result and never recovering.

By contrast Liquid's CT side was solid on Anubis, in large part thanks to Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak, but it could have been even better if not for some ill-advised mid-round aggression.

Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer activated in the early stages of the second half to help power his team to 12, but a successful Tec-9 pop into garnered Liquid the breathing room needed to build into the half. Just as it seemed Liquid would force the map into overtime, Bruno "latto" Rebelatto popped up with a beautiful 1v3 clutch to consign Liquid to defeat.

Insane latto 1v3 consigns Liquid to defeat

Liquid suffer the same problems

Liquid continued to suffer from the problems that have plagued them throughout the year, most notably numerous mid-round mistakes.

On Nuke, Liquid's CT half was ruined by throwing two man-advantage rounds, leading to a battered economy that never recovered. On Anubis, they could have had a massive CT half, if not for more mid-round collapses, often due to lackadaisical aggression.

saadzin ace clutch punishes Liquid

Guy "NertZ" Iluz had a poor series, seemingly uncomfortable with anchoring on the CT side, and Keith "NAF" Markovic's recent woes continued. siuhy clearly needs more time to work with this Liquid side.

Legacy's firepower shocks Liquid

Whilst Liquid certainly had issues in this series, Legacy deserve credit for confidently taking advantage of the mistakes that were presented to them.

dumau was a force to be reckoned with on Anubis, as was Lucas "lux" Meneghini, and latto and saadzin each provided immensely impactful clutches that changed the course of the series.

How lux has emerged as one of Brazil's most promising IGLs

Legacy were also impressive in terms of their protocols and structure, which is a credit to their new IGL lux. Plenty of eyes will be plastered upon them now, as they seek to prove this result was not a one-off.

proof that jks isnt the problem, naf/twistzz is and that mouz was right in kicking him. no need for further litmus tests my hypothesis has already been confirmed.

I still want to know the answer to this simple question. If siuhy is a GOAT IGL, why was he dumped? This is especially important since mouz levelled up into the 2nd best team in the world, and would likely be #1 if not for Vitality levelling up with ropz.

he was dumped because mouz and him had different visions of the game siuhy turned mouz into a powerhouse mouz won 3 trophies under siuhy they won 1 without him so i wouldnt say they "leveled up" next

MOUZ won 3 trophies in the span of 2 years under his leadership. Brollan won his first trophy with the team in their first tournament. They are not the same.

Perform well : " oh it s just honeymoon nanana" Perform bad : " oh leave them time". Meanwhile, Liquid sucks, Faze sucks, mouz thrives, vitality thrives ... some swap works very very, some need work, some won't work.

They haven't even had time to work on strats. What was it like 3-4 days max? Also, Vitality wasn't winning every tournament or anything as soon as ropz joined.
