The matchups for the second round of PGL Bucharest's Swiss stage have been determined following the conclusion of the first eight best-of-three series.

It was an upset-filled day one in the Romanian capital as The MongolZ, Virtus.pro, Falcons, Liquid and FaZe all stumbled at the first hurdle, sending them to the tournament's 0-1 pool.

After a shocking 0-2 loss to Legacy, Liquid will be seeking their first victory under Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek against Virtus.pro, who were no match for Rare Atom on Sunday, while Falcons will take on GamerLegion hoping to bounce back from their upset loss to Complexity.

Another highlight match of the 0-1 pool will pit FaZe against paiN, with both teams eager to avoid an early trip to an elimination round.

Fresh off a narrow 2-1 win over paiN, Aurora will be looking to make it two in a row against Brazilian opposition as they will lock horns with Legacy. Other standout matches from the 1-0 pool will see G2 go up against Rare Atom, and 3DMAX take on Astralis.
