Complexity romp past FURIA to close out day two
3DMAX beat Astralis to go 2-0 and FaZe sent paiN to the 0-2 elimination pool in the other closing matches of the day.

The second day of PGL Bucharest's best-of-three Swiss group stage has come to a close with Complexity and 3DMAX moving to the 2-0 advancement games and FaZe sending paiN to the 0-2 elimination pool.
Bryan "Maka" Canda's side followed up their win over The MongolZ on day one by beating Astralis in three maps, securing 13-7 wins on Dust2 and Inferno on either side of a 7-13 defeat on Ancient.
FaZe recovered from their loss to Astralis by defeating paiN 2-0 (13-7 Dust2, 13-11 Inferno) to avoid a trip to a treacherous early elimination pool, where Liquid, The MongolZ, and Falcons all reside after day two.
Complexity added to the string of upsets in Romania and extended their match winstreak to 13 in a row, a run that started with six series wins in the NA Bucharest qualifier, followed with a 5-0 record in the best-of-one, round-robin qualifier for YaLLa Compass Qatar, and has continued in Bucharest with wins over Falcons and FURIA.
Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's men were demolished by the Brazilians on Dust2, going down 2-11 and eventually losing the map 8-13 — one round after Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes botched a defuse in a 3v0 situation — before recovering spectacularly with 13-1 and 13-4 wins on Train and Inferno.
The third day of play will see the first two teams secure playoff berths, two teams sent home, and eight teams do battle in the 1-1 pool.
