Swedish WCG qualifier announced

The Swedish World Cyber Games qualifier has been announced to take place at the world's biggest LAN event, DreamHack.

Teams wishing to attend the World Cyber Games will have to go through a long route of qualifiers. Below is how it's planned.

Firstly, the teams will have to qualify through an online qualifier, the 25th of April. The top five will then advance to a LAN pre-qualifier at Inferno Online, where they will face off against H2k-Gaming, MYM and Playzone, who have been directly invited.

Furthermore, if one manages to place in the two top, you will advance to the national finals at DreamHack, where SK and fnatic have also been directly invited. Last but not least, the two top finalists will qualify for the WCG Nordic tournament at Assembly, in Finland, where they will fight to defend Scandinavia's honor in the World Cyber Games finals.

Like Norway's setup was, the teams who qualify to the WCG Nordic will also qualify to the World Cyber Games, but expenses will have to be paid on their own. The winner on the other hand, will receive full accommodation.

Why is the reigning Swedish Champion H2k not directly invited to the main tournament. And they are also the nr. 2 of last years qualification. Therefore SK should play with Playzone in the LAN-qualification. MYM should be playing in the online qualification, since they don't show any results so why putting them on that spot? How subjective is this invitation system! This is just bull!
