ESL Pro League Season 22 Stage 1NRG and Fluxo qualify for ESL Pro League
The two sides earned their spots thanks to winning ESL Challenger League.
NRG and Fluxo are the latest teams to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 22, doing so by winning ESL Challenger League in their respective regions.
The two Americas sides will join other ESL Challenger League winners in Stage 1 of ESL Pro League Season 22, set to kick off September 27, to fight for a chance to join some of the best sides in the world in the next stage of the event.
Fluxo experienced a mixed bag of results in the league portion of ECL South America, much of it played with Nicollas "nicks" Polonio among the squad instead of Matheus "mlhzin" Marçola, but dominated the playoffs of the tournament.

The Brazilians did not drop a single map on their way to the trophy and only once allowed their opposition to get to a double-digit round total. Fluxo enjoyed a good spread of fragging across their playoff run, seeing Guilherme "piriajr" Barbosa, Romeu "zevy" Rocco and Andrei "arT" Piovezan all top the scoreboard in different series.
NRG meanwhile endured a more difficult playoff run in the North American iteration of ECL, dropping maps to BLUEJAYS and Getting Info during their upper bracket run. By the time the upper bracket final and grand final rolled around, however, NRG had hit their groove, and they twice eased past Nouns to seal the deal.

Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott and Josh "oSee" Ohm were the main stars of NRG's run, although Nick "nitr0" Cannella also put up some highlight maps in key moments throughout his team's playoff campaign.
Fluxo and NRG will have to wait to see the full list of opposition they may face in Stage 1 of ESL Pro League, as there are still qualifiers to be played and VRS invites to be doled out.
