The veteran in-game leader is no longer tied to the Serbian organization.

Emi's second stint in Partizan has come to an end

Partizan have announced the parting of ways with in-game leader Luka "⁠emi⁠" Vuković just 13 days after the departure of coach Ivan "⁠choiv7⁠" Zivkovic.

The 31-year-old in-game leader was in his second stint with Partizan after rejoining the organization in June 2024 as a part of the former core of iNation alongside Nikola "⁠Dragon⁠" Boskovic and Luka "⁠c0llins⁠" Živanović.

Partizan sign new team with ex-iNation core

emi's first term with Partizan dates back to 2022, when he was on the team's books until May 2023, when Partizan transfer-listed their CS team, after which he spent a four-month sojourn in China with TYLOO.

Since his return, Partizan have been fighting in the European online scene, with a second place at CCT Season 2 Europe 17 and a fourth at the CCT Global Finals 2025 as their best results. Recently, the team has struggled on the Global VRS ranking, falling 40 spots to 68th after peaking in 28th place in February.

he was in tier 1 relatively recently actually also won a tier 2 lan against cadian's heroic with cr4zy, transitioning from coach to player, right after hunter and nexa left for g2

got to be money. I'm sure the gap in pay is even more pronounced at the lower echelons of cs Hopefully, partizan can find a good replacement. I think this core has potential. not sure how I feel about kind0 on the awp forever though... idk if there is anyone else who can do it though

yup the core has potential as they made the rmr before under ination but it's really hard to find serbian speaking upgrades not called niko or hunter could probably benefit from more support as apparently they barely get any from partizan the club

Somewhat surprising tbh., I've always considered emi a good IGL, I know he doesn't have results in his career to back it up, Partizan were a team that really didn't feel like will take the next step, they needed a change probably, but I would defienietly start those changes with someone else not emi, what Serbian IGL is there even available that is an upgrade? I'm sad for emi tbh.

Emi is legend, since 1.6 he is there and his experience is golden, he was pretty good as coach and I think he will return soon to that position, maybe his replacement will be choiv7 I mean choiv is 6 years younger than emi and this roster with both choiv and emi represented Serbia on IESF and they were third. I would love to see maden, I think it's too ambitious to expect from Partizan to bring nexa. But some change has to be done because iNation we haven't any success.
