MOUZ secure sixth consecutive playoffs after statement win over Liquid
MOUZ limited their former in-game leader's squad to just ten rounds in two maps.

MOUZ are the first team to secure a spot in the IEM Dallas playoffs following a statement victory over Liquid.
In their first encounter against Liquid since they added Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, MOUZ thoroughly outclassed their former in-game leader's squad.
A cosmetic comeback aside, Inferno made it clear which way the series was going from the start, as Liquid's hope to pick into a MOUZ weakness backfired. They were limited to just three rounds on the T side as Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás reigned over the first half with 20 kills on the AWP.
When we did preparation, we saw some patterns we could abuse [on Inferno]," torzsi said after the match on the ESL broadcast. "I think it's because they have a hard time without a coach. When you don't have a coach, it's pretty hard to build up a system alone as an IGL."
MOUZ also went for the opponent's weakness with a pick of Train, forcing Liquid to play the newest map for the first time with the new in-game leader after they banned out Nuke.
The decision worked wonders, as MOUZ picked Liquid's CT side apart and rallied to a 13-2 closing with Lotan "Spinx" Giladi at the forefront, finding picks on the side time and time again.
"We saw it in the game they don't have a lot of game time on Train, it was an obvious pick for us," torzsi told the desk.
A potential Falcons rematch awaits
Following the win, MOUZ still have the seeding match to play. There, they could well face off against Falcons, who have proven to be a difficult matchup ever since they got Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov on board with two consecutive wins at BLAST Rivals and IEM Melbourne.

"You need to have individual brilliance to win versus teams like Falcons, Spirit or Vitality, they have the best players in the world. We worked a lot on this and also on our map pool in the last two weeks because we skipped Astana, so we've had a lot of time to practice," torzsi went on.
"I feel like we are ready to play against Falcons now, but even if it doesn't come out the best, it's still a group stage game. I'm sure we want to grab them in the playoffs if we have a chance."
