The Portuguese organization is undertaking a significant revamp after a poor end to the season.

SAW have parted ways with cej0t and AZUWU after just over three months

SAW have announced that Jan "⁠cej0t⁠" Dyl and Oscar "⁠AZUWU⁠" Bell are no longer part of the organization, and that Maikil "⁠Golden⁠" Selim has been moved to the bench.

The Portuguese organization cited "results below our expectations" as the reason for the significant changes to the squad, which also included parting ways with their mental and performance coach.

"In recent months, we took an ambitious step by bringing the international market to SAW," the organization's statement read. "This carefully considered decision brought us new experiences and perspectives.

"However, after a particularly gruelling season marked by results below our expectations, we felt compelled to reflect on our journey and what we aspire to for the future of the team."

This will be the second significant retooling of SAW's roster in a handful of months as the team only plucked AZUWU and cej0t from the lower reaches of tier-two in February, when the org switched to an international roster amidst their struggles to replace Michel "⁠ewjerkz⁠" Pinto and Rafael "⁠arrozdoce⁠" Wing.

SAW enjoyed a positive start with AZUWU and cej0t on the squad, the duo helping the team progress to Stage 2 of ESL Pro League where they grabbed a surprise win over Natus Vincere.

Results quickly soured, however, as SAW failed to qualify for BLAST.tv Austin Major, exited IEM Melbourne and MESA Nomadic Masters Spring in last place, and could only manage a single series win in CCT Season 3 Europe Series 1.

Such were SAW's struggles they opted to withdraw from their final event of the season, Galaxy Battle Phase 2, in order to take "the necessary space to reflect, readjust and make the right decisions."

there arent many players left in general and after the offset fiasco it showed the lack of mentality in the portuguese players, they could get krazy and TMkJ, but tmkj is on wildcard academy and doubt he wants to leave. arrozdoce and ewjerks wont come back to national scene with the international doors open. and the lack of national competitions will be the last nail in the coffin of this scene
