INS: "It's nice to not face a Spirit or Vitality first game, but these teams are no slouches"
The Aussie captain says the team is entering the best-of-three stage with "full confidence" after a 2-0 start.

FlyQuest find themselves in the 2-0 pool after the first day of the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 1. The majority Australian squad comfortably dispatched Fluxo (13-7) and BetBoom (13-6) to reach the best-of-three stage with three lives remaining.
After the game against Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov's squad, Joshua "INS" Potter spoke to HLTV about his team finally not playing a top side in the first round.

"It's nice to not face a Spirit or Vitality first game," he said. "For us, it's really important to get a couple wins on the board and build our confidence like that."
He also spoke about Corey "nettik" Browne, Iulian "regali" Harjău, and his adaptation to calling.
FlyQuest are 2-0 after the first day here at the Austin Major. I guess you have to be happy with that result, right?
Yeah, we're happy with our performance. Obviously we only played BO1s, so we'll be getting into the BO3s now but I'm really happy with how everyone performed individually and how we gelled together today. Just full confidence going into the 3-0 games.
In the game against BetBoom, netikk had a great performance. How has he fit into the team?
He's really good. He's the kind of guy where you can send anywhere, and you know he's good for a couple kills, it's really nice to have someone like that. He's a super chill guy, and he's fitting in really well.
Can you feel his lack of experience at Majors on the server or is it not noticeable at all?
Not really, to be honest. He's a no-emotion kind of guy, so you don't really feel it. Obviously there's probably rounds where he thinks he makes mistakes, but everyone's making them. He's been very good so far.
Usually for you guys, when you come to a tournament, you face very good teams straight away. How much easier is it to come to this tournament and play teams that are at your level?
Yeah, it's nice to not face a Spirit or Vitality first game. For us it's really important to get a couple wins on the board and build our confidence like that, but these teams are no slouches either, so we're just happy that we could get the wins.
You returned to calling a few months ago. How have you found that?
I'm enjoying it. I'm a bit more mature now, so I kind of like watching more demos and stuff like that. Obviously it's a bit more mentally taxing, but I think I'm up for the challenge now. Everyone's been really good so far in helping me. I have a lot of support around me, so it's good.
Since you started calling, your individual numbers obviously have gone down a bit. Is that a conscious decision to allow your new guys, nettik and regali, have a bit more space to frag while you focus on fragging?
Yeah, kind of. You see a lot more rounds where I'm supporting compared to when I used to, I used to just be the active lurk back when we had dexter. It's more of just a system thing, I'm just trying to bring the best out of everyone.
Talking about that. It feels like regali is leveling up his game ever since you took over. Is there anything special that you did to help him improve?
No, not really. I just give him as much freedom as he wants, try to anyway, and just let him go for the aggro picks he wants to. I feel like everyone's stepping up, it's not just him, it's everyone. When we're winning, it's easier for individuals to show their talent.
