1eer: "riskyb0b is a legend, you have to know this"

1eer made sure Lynn Vision knew who riskyb0b was with frequent shouts across at his opposition.

Belarussian in-game leader Aliaksandr "⁠1eeR⁠" Nahorny came into Austin trying to right the wrongs of Nemiga's disappointment at the Shanghai RMR six months ago.

"We weren't ready to qualify for the Shanghai Major at the RMR," he tells HLTV after Nemiga went 2-1. "We were too young, there was a lot of pressure after our win in Serbia."

2-1 now, how did you feel after that comeback?

I'm happy. Finally, these best-of-one series ends for us and we're going to play BO3. We feel comfortable in this format because we have good maps, and it's going to be easier for mental part. I'm happy we won. We'll see tomorrow.

I heard you were having fun, shouting 'do you know who this is?' and pointing to riskyb0b, tell me a bit about that.

I'm just trying to hype everyone in my team because it's going to boost moral part, the mental part of my teammates. When I'm screaming, everyone is playing better, it's more chances for highlights from my teammates and more chances for a win. I'm trying to hype every round but riskyb0b is a legend, you have to know this.

How do you think the team has changed since Shanghai, when pressure was a bit of an issue, at least from what khaN told me afterwards?

We weren't ready to qualify for the Shanghai Major at the RMR. We were too young, there was a lot of pressure after our win in Serbia [at RES]. We got this pressure because of us. We thought, 'we're a good team, we can do something,' but we weren't right. After this loss we thought about more things and we can become better. We saw with our results, at ESL Pro League we played better CS and now we are ready to show what we can do.

What's it like to work with boX, I know he's a bit of a legend in Belarus.

Anton is too strong, to be honest. In some points, you can get your ass — I don't know how to say it right. If you're doing some shit in a map, he's going to tell you this, and maybe it's going to be in strong form.

My opinion is that he's a genius of CS. His understanding of competitive CS, at the highest level, he's a tier one coach 100%.

Do you think the team needs him to be strong sometimes? Because you're all so young.

Yeah, it's all about experience. We need to be stronger to beat stronger teams, like BetBoom, we need to be stronger to beat them at this moment. But it's going to be a good future for us at this Major.

Another player who gets a lot of hype is zweih, what makes him so good?

It all depends on his mental part because he is silent, he thinks about his game. We have a good structure, you have to understand that. He can kill because we have good structure, he's a good part of this structure. His mechanical skill is on the highest level, he is young, he has good shooting and he is confident in himself. That's why he's playing so good.

With FL4MUS it was similar when he had some lurk roles despite being so aggressive, and zweih too, is an anchor-lurker. What's the thinking there?

They are different players. If you talk about macro gaming, the structure of your team, it became harder after we lost FL4MUS because he talks so much in-game. He helped me build the structure.

When we got zweih we didn't lose firepower, he's too strong guy, his headshots I don't know. I'm watching, going 'how did he do it, how are you training.' Every player has good things and bad things. It's not right if you think who's better, FL4MUS or zweih, they are different players and every player gives his confidence to the team, and kills.

I have to ask, the team's been together a while and there have been some rumors about yourself and Virtus.pro, have you got anything to say about that?

I don't know anything. To be honest, nobody wrote to me. I knew about these words from media. And that's all.
