Complexity eliminated from Austin Major by TYLOO
The North Americans' run at their home Major has come to an early end.

Complexity have been eliminated from the BLAST.tv Austin Major on day three following a 0-2 loss to TYLOO in Stage 1's 1-2 pool. It's a disappointing end to the Major campaign from the North American side, who couldn't get into their groove in Austin without AWPer Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli.

For Complexity, the pain of the loss is compounded by their lackluster showing on Train, one of their strongest maps in 2025. It's their second consecutive Train defeat after a 10-0 run on the map.
The North Americans made a bright start to the series as they raced out to a 6-2 lead on Train thanks to Michael "Grim" Wince, who racked up 19 frags on the T side, 11 more than his closest teammate. TYLOO tightened up to make it a 6-6 half, and then they plowed through the Complexity defense in the second half to pick up an easy win.
Inferno began with a pistol ace by YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng, but the first half was mostly controlled by Complexity, who secured a 7-5 lead thanks to back-to-back 1v1s from Paytyn "junior" Johnson before half-time.
Grim added to Complexity's lead with a pistol 1v1, paving the way for a 10-5 score. However, as soon as guns came into play, the landscape of the game changed completely as TYLOO took control of proceedings, with Jingxiang "Mercury" Wang and Dongkai "Jee" Ji combining for 26 frags on the defense.
Grim after elimination: "It's very disappointing"
Speaking to Freya "Freya" Spiers after the match, Grim admitted his disappointment at Complexity's early exit from the Major.
"It's very disappointing," he said. "I've lived in Austin for so long. I wanted to make the stage really badly. We were not at 100% going into this event, but we did what we could. It's just very disappointing. I wish we could have done more."
Grim added that the team was disjointed on CT side Train and T side Inferno. "We were never on the same page. That bites you sometimes against good teams."
