Virtus.pro roll over B8 to go 2-0 in Austin

The Russian squad have brought their A game to the Major.

Virtus.pro have put themselves in prime position to qualify for Stage 3 of BLAST.tv Austin Major, crushing B8 to secure a 2-0 record in Stage 2.

B8 may have turned heads by upsetting Falcons in their opening game of the stage, but they had little to offer against Virtus.pro.

Virtus.pro kicked off their CT side in good form, successfully forcing after a pistol loss to take firm control of the half. B8 threatened to grab a string of rounds at the end of the half, but a miraculous 2v5 by Denis "⁠electroNic⁠" Sharipov and Petr "⁠fame⁠" Bolyshev secured a dominant 9-3 score.

ICY hits three tasty P250 one-taps

Some crisp P250 one-taps by Kaisar "⁠ICY⁠" Faiznurov ensured Virtus.pro kept rolling onwards into their T half, and B8 lost another man-advantage situation on their way to a crushing defeat.

Virtus.pro have endured a rough season, struggling to make the playoffs of Big Events even at lesser-attended PGL tournaments. Such were their struggles, rumours persist of potential changes in the upcoming off-season.
