I think it’s pretty tough to blame zonic for this. Sure they looked like trash, but when they are on the server they should have been able to rely on their experience alone. All of these great players fell through, and to be honest the stars even more so than the rest.

How many more teams does he need to destroy for their cores, how many more millions does he need to get the best players in the world, to not even make it to stage 3 at the major. Let's stop defending Mr. wasting timeouts just to think. Other coaches can de well with more up and coming talent and don't need super teams to get results, blade with navi last year is a great example of that.

Winning a major is great and every pro player aspires to lift the trophy at least once in their life. It's the height of achievement as a pro player. But winning it doesn't automatically make you the goat, and vice versa. It's stupid to say NiKo isn't the greatest rifler in CS because he hasn't won a major. Okay yes I agree Niko had less impact than monesy but if you take a closer look, Niko almost always died through smokes or because of bullshit timings. It's like in those games u play in premier where u have 0 luck and your opponents keep having timings and there's nothing you can do about it. Meanwhile monesy always had opportunities to make game winning kills and fumbled hard. Yes monesy had a more impactful game in the end but he had the chance to close the map like 3-4 different times, while Niko on the other hand got to be the fall guy...

yeah missing your star awper will make you lose maps and matches, monesy's performance was very rough. Not saying he lost those matches directly, it's just hard to find enough time to compensate for that after you see after 5-10 rounds that monesy can't hit a broad side of a barn. You hope he's there, you play matches as he is going to perform to his level. When players don't do it then teams try to find a way to make up for it, BO1 is not really suitable for that, even less now in MR12. You can't really do anything apart from hoping your initial plan works Niko did well, 1.21 in such rough losses is an impressive rating.

I think its funny you mention 360 no scope through the smoke. It wasn't quite that bad but it was BAD, he got absolutely tortured that inferno map by MIBR. I swear half his deaths were without even seeing an enemy. That 18-17 5v3 OT he literally took a one shot bullet from the guy who already rushed through banana killing two of his mates lmao. He was cursed for sure but I agree that the reactions while I can understand them are not necessary

Falcons are 100% better than what they showed at the major. You do not take vitality close like 3 back-to-back times with shit protocols and still in those games niko and monesy were usually silent, when they should be more active.
