After three successive group stage exits, FURIA will be back in the arena for a Major quarter-final.
FURIA have beaten Virtus.pro to qualify for their first Major playoffs since Rio 2022 in further vindication for the team's move to an international roster.
Since making semi-finals on home soil in Rio, the team were eliminated in the Legends stage of Paris, Copenhagen, and Shanghai.
But the mid-season decision to switch to an English-speaking roster just two months ago has paid off for attempt number four with gambles on Danil "molodoy" Golubenko and Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis exceeding even the wildest expectations.

The 6-1 run through Stage 2 and 3 has come with YEKINDAR and molodoy, the team's new recruits, leading the way on 1.32 and 1.23 ratings.
But it would be unfair to characterise it as an international aid mission, given that Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato is on 1.25 and Yuri "yuurih" Santos recorded his fourth-best LAN map of his career on map one of the 2-0 series against VP.
On map two, it was Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo leading the way on a 11-4 K-D during FURIA's charge to an 8-1 T side lead, making it a true team effort en route to a deserved playoff berth.

VP let a huge chance for playoffs slip
The series began with a convincing Virtus.pro pistol win on Mirage but, after a molodoy Scout helped FURIA answer back, there was little else positive to report for Denis "electroNic" Sharipov's men.
The VP captain cut a frustrated figure as he attempted to wake his team up to no avail. Timeouts from Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov did not do the trick either, as the team slumped to 3-13 and 5-13 defeats.
Missing a smoke, down 5-10 on Train, summed the series up for the team who still need one best-of-three win to join FURIA in playoffs.
yuurih comes into his own
yuurih was a big question mark coming into the new roster after undergoing a full role transformation into a full time anchor.
But his new roles have played to his passive strengths, and he is still able to be a trade-fragging demon on T side.
CT side has been harder, yuurih admitted to HLTV, but there was no stress on the server today as he went on to post a 2.22 rating after a 14-kill CT side on Mirage.
That's the fourth-best LAN map of his career and it could not have come at a more crucial point.
