H2k Gaming have announced the acquisition of Confis' female Counter-Strike team.

The Norwegian-based team have been confirmed as one of the 12 sides on show at Arbalet Cup Female, which will take place this weekend in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.

The move follows the trend of H2k's preference for Scandinavian talent, as the new squad follows in the footsteps of the male team, who hail from Sweden.

"I’m really delighted to add this new Counter-Strike 1.6 female team. I think this team can play on the highest level of the female esport scene. And hopefully with our help they will be able to reach their maximum potential," said Steven Griek, H2k COO.

H2k Gaming will be attending Arbalet Arena Female Cup in the first weekend of May, with the following roster:

Norway Hanne "HaySS" Skårdal
Norway Line "Vanilje" Eriksen
Sweden Cecilia "D1zzy" Melander
Sweden Sandra "SMinkan" Nymark-Brand
