Spirit have replaced magixx with 17-year-old rising star zweih.

Spirit have announced the signing of Ivan "⁠zweih⁠" Gogin, acting quickly to replace Boris "⁠magixx⁠" Vorobiev, who was recently moved to the bench. The news confirms a recent HLTV report.

zweih arrives in Spirit after a year with Nemiga, where he made a name for himself as one of the rising stars of the Russian-speaking scene.

Initially helping Nemiga to solid results in lower tier online play, such as second in ESL Challenger League and a win in Hellcase Cup, zweih began to elevate his level over the back end of 2024, serving as his team's highest-rated player in their LAN win at RES Regional Champions.

By 2025 zweih had emerged as Nemiga's best performer as emphasised by his team-leading ratings in BLAST Bounty S1 and ESL Pro League Stage 1, where he carried the torch for his side against a good level of opposition.

His breakout came at the end of the season, where the youngster starred in Nemiga's underdog run to Stage 3 of BLAST.tv Austin Major. zweih's 1.21 and 1.28 ratings in Stage 1 and 2 respectively were by far the best amongst his teammates, and among the best of all players competing.

zweih achieved all this success as an anchor, which makes him an ideal pickup for Spirit, who benched small-site anchor magixx in favour of the 17-year-old. zweih will be hoping to live up to the expectations of his new teammate Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets, who named zweih as his Bold Prediction in last year's HLTV Top 20.

Bro any CIS igl can do a lot better than chopper. 1eer from nemiga, boomich, even washed electronic and nafany. It is impossible to do anything worse than that chopper-hally-overdrive combo. With the core of donk-shiro-zontix you expect they are competing pre-major Falcons at the very least. Yes they might consistently win against worse teams but that's way not enough for that 3 player core.

Not really. Chopper gets carried by his teams firepower, like in Astana. HooXi completely outcalled him and read him like a book and still Astralis only won 1/6 maps. Because Astralis firepower is no match for Spirit firepower with their donk-sh1ro-zont1x core. There are better IGLs. Even Magnojez, who was IGL only for a few months before Boombl4 joined, would be a better IGL than chopper. Chopper makes so many mistakes that it's hard to believe at least someone isn't better than him. Boombl4's aim isn't as good as it used to be, but I saw enough BetBoom games that I'm certain he has better game sense and calling than chopper. He just plays for a bad team.

Srsly every igl in tier1, literally everyone can outcall chopper and read them but most just got fucked by donk and rest of the firepower. Watching spirit for years, he did okay in the degster/mir roster and the patsi/siren/wonderful one, but this is the worst he calls for real.

I think he also did good in early 2024. He had great calling in Katowice and it continued all the way up to that Blast event that they won. Since Cologne he has been on fraudwatch.

I think he will last longer in Spirit than NiKo in Falcons. NiKo will drop another Inferno masterclass in stage 2, but this time against Legacy. NiKo will also refuse to give up any of his roles to kyousuke. You are aware that zweih will have the 2nd best rifle aim on Spirit, right? Chopper will drop first, and then either sh1ro or zont1x.
