"There was potential for oSee to remain with NRG in a rifling role, but he ultimately made the decision to bench himself and look at other options," the organization said.

NRG have moved Josh "⁠oSee⁠" Ohm to the bench, confirming a previous report by Dust2.us.

The organization also announced the transfer of Jadan "⁠HexT⁠" Postma to M80, and is expected to sign Carson "⁠nosraC⁠" O'Reilly and Zack "⁠XotiC⁠" Elshani to replenish its ranks.

NRG added that oSee was given the option to remain on the team as a rifler but chose to bench himself and explore other options.

The 26-year-old sniper signed with NRG in November 2023 upon the organization's return to Counter-Strike, hoping to experience a resurgence after a troubled two-year stint with Liquid.

oSee won Fragadelphia 18 and several North American online events while with NRG, including PrizePicks NA Revival Series, CCT tournaments, and ESL Challenge League Season 49, but couldn't translate those results into international success.

He averaged a 1.15 rating over 361 maps during his NRG tenure, but struggled at the few offline events the team attended. oSee's overall rating drops to 1.05 when filtering for LAN, which is propped up by 1.23 and 1.12-rated showings at two Fragadelphia events and deflated by 0.74 and 0.93 ratings at IEM Dallas and Stage 1 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, respectively.

With the changes, NRG are left with:
