prodigy-esc bring in duo
prodigy-esc have announced that Fabrice "ScariuM" Bonnet and Gaetan "SHq" Varlotta have moved onto their Counter-Strike department.
The French team had been linked with roster changes in recent weeks after a top 8 placing at Gamers Assembly 2010, where a quarter-final defeat to Dimension4 spelled the end of their campaign.
Although the two new players at prodigy-esc have plenty of experience in their CV, they have been without a stable team for some months now, but the team look confident they will play a big part in their future.
"Finally, here is the face that will silence the gossip about prodigy-esc being a mix, we will prepare for Nexen, which looks to be a very tournament because almost all the big teams will be there," team coach Nordeen "DeLuXa" Mecabih told the team's website.
"We will do our best, and use the skills of each player to the maximum to achieve a good placing. SHq's wish to return to his best level and Scarium's experience will help us move forward."
The two arrivals will pave the way for the exits of Jeffrey "FAOMING" Hamadi and Nabil "AXION" Ouache. While the former has been released due to "mentality issues", Ouache has decided to step down as player, claiming personal reasons.
