Official: FlyQuest sign jks

jks makes his return to a home team after five years in international lineups.

FlyQuest formally unveiled the signing of Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage from Liquid on Wednesday, confirming a Monday HLTV report of the move.

jks will take the place of Jay "⁠Liazz⁠" Tregillgas on the roster, bringing an end to the 27-year-old's three-and-a-half-year spell on Australia's best team, which started out with Renegades in early 2022.

The FlyQuest joining marks jks' return to a home team for the first time since 100 Thieves disbanded following the organization's withdrawal from CS:GO in 2020.

The 29-year-old makes the move following a three-month spell on Liquid's bench, where he was placed to make space for the arrival of a new in-game leader in Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek earlier this year.

With the addition of the four-time Big Event winner, FlyQuest look to inject some more experience in the squad as well as individual stability with hopes of improving their status as a top-20 to 30 team, where they have sat for most of their tenure under the American organization.

Liazz struggled in that time, averaging a team-lowest 0.86 Big Event rating in the past year, while in many shared positions and typically playing against higher-ranked opposition, jks averaged a 0.98 Big Event rating in his nine months with Liquid.
